Motorburger is a shipping-container burger kitchen inside Detroit Shipping Company on Peterboro Street in Midtown, a few minutes from Wayne State.

Everything is built to order: chargrilled burgers with house-made sauces, fries cut by hand and blanched twice, and French-Canadian poutine with Wisconsin cheese curds and gravy from our own 24-hour bone broth.

The poutine is a nod to where the recipe started. Before Detroit, Reader's Digest picked the Deux Chevaux as one of Canada's five great burgers, and the shop was featured on Food Network's You Gotta Eat Here!, which aired well beyond Canada.

Motorburger was developed by hospitality veterans with 32 years in the business.
